The Method

The Underlying Aesthetic™ is where design begins.

The Mid-Sensory method is built around The Underlying Aesthetic™ — our proprietary process for uncovering the sensory truth beneath your preferences.

We begin before Pinterest, before paint swatches, and before the room tries to perform. Through guided discovery, we identify the emotional cues, sensory memories, and environmental patterns that either restore or deplete you.

From there, we translate the invisible into a visual language of color, texture, material, rhythm, and proportion.

A room should not simply reflect your taste. It should recognize your nervous system.
01

Discovery

We begin with The Underlying Aesthetic™ interview, identifying sensory preferences, memories, aversions, textures, sounds, scents, and emotional cues.

02

Synthesis

Your sensory data becomes design language: mood, color rationale, texture direction, silhouettes, materials, and emotional keywords.

03

Translation

The invisible becomes visible — translated into a coherent aesthetic that feels personal because it is neurologically and emotionally specific.

04

Installation

The final space is refined with proportion, contrast, tactile detail, and a sense of personal inevitability.
